China Management Accounting Review
China Management Accounting Review, a major national business journal, was approved for publication by the China State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television on January 26, 2017. Under the supervision of the Ministry of Finance, the journal is published by the China Association of Chief Financial Officers (CACFO) and the Economic Science Press. The journal’s four associated sponsors are China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), Guanghua Business School of Peking University, Nanjing University’s Research Institute of Accounting and Finance, and Shanghai National Accounting Institute. Ms. Liu Hongwei, President of CACFO, is the director of the journal’s editorial board. Professor Xu Dingbo of CEIBS is the executive director of the board. Professor Wang Liyan of Peking University is the editor in chief. Mr. Lou Jiwei, former Minister of Finance, is the chief advisor.
The journal encourages collaboration between academia and practitioners. Its mission is to become the most influential journal on management accounting research and practice in China. The journal also aims to serve as a bridge between academic scholars and business practitioners, as well as between China and the rest of the world. Each issue of the journal covers a main theme and also includes columns such as Focus, Insights, Features, Perspectives, Cases, Overseas and Spotlight, etc.
The journal currently publishes quarterly. As of October 2019, the journal has published nine issues in Chinese, all of which were well received by business communities, academic institutions and government decision-making bodies. The first English issue will also be published in October 2019.
